Sorry to send yet another non-content message to this list, but I feel
that the approach should be reversed: many people (including myself)
have been subscribed to a mailing-list without knowing it, which has
lead to considerable irritation & annoyance. I would therefore suggest
that everybody should be REMOVED from this list, UNLESS they send a
mail to the above address to subscribe to it. This would also stop
dozens of `unsubscribe' messages being distributed around the world.
